Esk Valley Trail: Following informal discussions with Midlothian Council, the gate at Powdermill Brae into Roslin Glen Country Park will remain open all year round as the alternative route along the roads to Lea Farm is now very busy with diverted traffic. Local riders should check before riding the trail in the opposite direction in case the gate is closed for temporary maintenance work.
