Why pick a BHS Approved Riding Establishment?

Horse riding has become an increasingly popular pastime in recent years. The BHS positively encourages people of all ages to have a go at what can be a really rewarding and exciting sport. However, finding somewhere to ride, especially for the first time, can be a bit daunting. We at BHS Scotland are here to help you find somewhere to learn safely and effectively, where you can be sure that all necessary standards have been met.

Each of the establishments on our approved list has been inspected by a highly experienced BHS representative, who will have looked carefully at the level of instruction available to clients, the on-site facilities and equipment, and the standards of safety, horse care and management.

Whether looking to have weekly riding lessons or just to enjoy the amazing Scottish scenery while on holiday, our list of BHS Approved centres gives you the peace of mind that both the horse’s welfare and yours will be of the highest standard.
